2. 10-Day ā€œNo-Questions-Askedā€ Return Policy ā€” Loose Gemstones

We offer a 10-day Return & Replacement Window beginning from the date you receive your package, as confirmed by the courier delivery records.

If you are not completely satisfied with your loose gemstone for any reason, you may return it within 10 days for a 100% refund of the gemstone value, regardless of the order amount.

No Arbitrary Restrictions

You do not need to provide a lab report or proof of a major colour mismatch to initiate a return for loose gemstones.

3. Gemstone Jewellery & Customisation

We understand that custom-crafted jewellery is personal.

Custom-made pieces, including rings, pendants, and bracelets, cannot be melted or resold at full retail value. Therefore, the following terms apply:

75% Store Credit

If you return a custom-made jewellery piece within 10 days of delivery, you will receive 75% of the total invoice value as store credit, which can be used towards a future purchase on Rudraksha.GemRishi.com.

Ring Resizing

We offer complimentary ring resizing within the first 10 days of purchase for all domestic orders.

Order Cancellation Before Shipping

If you cancel a custom jewellery order before dispatch, a 25% making-charge deduction will apply. The remaining 75% will be refunded to the original payment method.

4. Blue Sapphire (Neelam) Trial Window

To accommodate traditional astrological suitability testing, customers purchasing Blue Sapphire (Neelam) are eligible for the full 10-day return policy.

We recommend keeping the gemstone in your possession during the initial 24ā€“72-hour trial period before custom mounting.

5. Compulsory Unboxing Video

A continuous, unedited video from the opening of the sealed package is required and should clearly show:

  • The condition of the parcel and seals

  • The product

  • The laboratory certificate

  • The invoice

Customers are strongly advised to record the unboxing video at the time of delivery.

6. Conditions for Return & Exchange

To qualify for a refund or store credit, the returned item must meet the applicable conditions below.

Parcel Opening Video

The unboxing video should show the sealed package, invoice, certificate, product, and packaging. This helps protect both the customer and GemRishi against transit damage, missing items, or delivery discrepancies.

Original Condition

The gemstone or jewellery must be:

  • Unused

  • Unaltered

  • Undamaged

  • Free from nicks, chips, or scratches

Understanding Natural Stones

Natural, earth-mined gemstones may show minor variations in colour depending on lighting, viewing angle, photography, and individual device screens.

If a gemstone has a minor shade variation and you prefer another hue, our team will assist you with an exchange where applicable.

Complete Documentation

The return should include:

  • Original laboratory authenticity certificate

  • Original invoice

  • Original packaging

  • Any complimentary items provided with the order

Missing Documentation

If an original laboratory certificate has been misplaced, please contact Customer Support.

While a 100% cash refund requires the original certificate, GemRishi may provide store-credit or exchange options following re-certification and verification.

7. Lifetime Authenticity Guarantee

Customers are welcome to have their gemstone independently tested at a recognised testing laboratory, including:

  • GII

  • GRS

  • GĆ¼belin

  • SSEF

In the highly improbable event that a gemstone is proven by an accredited laboratory to be synthetic, inauthentic, or treated outside the declared parameters, GemRishi will provide a 100% full refund, including applicable shipping and certification costs.

8. How to Initiate a Return

Step 1 ā€” Raise a Request

Contact Customer Support at wecare@gemrishi.com within 10 days of delivery and request a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) code.

Step 2 ā€” Pack Securely

Securely pack the product with all original certificates, invoices, packaging, and accompanying materials.

For security, do not write words such as ā€œGemstoneā€, ā€œJewelleryā€, or ā€œPreciousā€ on the exterior of the courier package.

Step 3 ā€” Dispatch

Ship the product using an insured courier service, such as DTDC Plus or Blue Dart.

Return courier costs are borne by the customer, except where an incorrect or damaged item was delivered.

9. Refund Timelines & Non-Refundable Costs

Once the returned product is received, it will undergo a quality inspection within 3ā€“5 business days.

Once the return is approved, the refund will be credited to the original payment method within 7ā€“10 working days.

Non-Refundable Components

The following third-party charges are generally non-refundable:

  • Standard logistics/shipping charges

  • Government taxes/GST paid

  • Payment gateway processing fees

10. Return Process

  4. Once approved, securely ship the product back.

Any detected:

  • Inventory mismatch

  • Stone replacement attempt

  • Fraudulent return activity

may result in immediate rejection of the request, permanent restriction from the platform, and legal action as permitted by applicable law.

12. Refund Processing

After formal quality approval of the returned item, the applicable refund will be processed within 7ā€“10 working days.

The finalized amount will be credited exclusively to the original payment method and account holder.
